Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt
In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated
Fold in the chocolate chips
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart
