Grilled Burger

A classic way to cook outside is to grill burgers. These burgers are juicy and full of flavor. They're great for a summer barbecue.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Ketchup and mustard for condiments

Instructions:

Warm up the grill until it's very hot, about 450F 230C

Split the ground beef into 4 equal pieces and shape them into burger patties while the grill heats up

On both sides of each patty, sprinkle salt and pepper

Put the burger patties on the hot grill grates and cook for three to four minutes on each side for medium-rare

You can change the cooking time to get the level of doneness you like

In the last minute of cooking, cover the grill and add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty

This will melt the cheese

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they are golden brown while the cheese melts

The burgers and buns should be taken off the grill

To make the burgers, put lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each bun, then a burger patty with melted cheese, tomatoes, and onions that have been sliced

If you want, add ketchup and mustard

Then, put the other half of the bun on top

Enjoy your hot burgers with your favorite sides
